Free Training in Leading Business Technology Applications and Soft Skills
A series of free technology and soft skill training classes are being offered for those seeking employment or who are interested in new career paths as well as people who want to improve their career skill set to earn a higher standard of living.
The technology training will cover leading business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher. Adobe applications cover Acrobat and Photoshop. In the area of soft skills, training will be offered in job search skills, career best practices, basic accounting concepts, communication skills and basic computer skills.
Please follow the link below for a complete list of currently scheduled courses throughout the state. You must be 16 or older to register. First consideration given to Louisiana residents.

Training is presented by Microsoft Certified trainers and funded through a BroadbandUSA grant as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
